  1. If I could give her a 0, I would. Madison manipulated the situation by suggesting that our marriage therapy would be better served by individual sessions. She then charged us each, doubling her payment, all while giving each of us different and conflicting advise on how to resolve disagreements. I understand that people may respond to different approaches, but the information she gave each of us was not a function of approach. At time the therapy was vastly different which further complicated the communication in our relationship. She went so far as to inappropriately suggest we go to a brothel together to ‘ignite our spark’. I suppose her degree didn’t teach her that marriage is a sacred vow, not to be sullied by participating in live sex acts with strangers. She is not trustworthy. She did not disclose that she must report to a supervisor. I would only recommend her to patients seeking a reason for divorce, not patients seeking real help for real marriage communication issues. She should not be allowed to practice.

  2. She missed 2 appointments. The first time she left me waiting at her office with no notification to change the time… for 35 min. When I called to reschedule, she apologized and said she had a family emergency. Three weeks later, she did it again. When I called that time, she told me she had a patient that had to be admitted and apologized again. When I finally did see her, she described that hospitalized patient’s situation, in more detail that I was comfortable. It was inappropriate. I would not want my confidentiality violated. No matter how much her ‘ER’ background might make her unique as a therapists, I can not trust she will not divulge my personal information if she was so willing to discuss another patient with me. She is not a professionally sound choice.

    1. Madison does care about her patients. Her background as an emergency medicine worker does make her a little more street level and not a softer therapist. But her edginess makes her more in the real world and not a bubble. If you spell out what you want and how you want it and do not want it she will deliver. Just effectively communicate your needs, wants, and goals. She does really care. Finesse will come with experience. She has unique value.
