  1. Dr Rich was my family Dr for years. I suffered a severe back injury in 2005. I’ve been prescribed pain meds ever since. I had some trouble, (Bot related to my back injury) and was admitted to the hospital after spending 10 hrs in the ER. I had taken my pain meds that morning and I needed to take them again that evening. I asked if my wife could bring them to me. They said ABSOLUTELY NOT! I then asked if I could go home and take them then come back. I was told that I’d have to go back to the
ER and wait to be admitted again. A kind nurse understood my dilemma. She offered to call Dr rich to see if he would prescribe just a single dose to get me through the night. He REFUSED and would NOT allow me to have my much needed meds! What kind of Dr or human being for that matter would knowingly allow someone to go into HORRIBLE withdraws? All they asked him for was to allow me to have one damn time release pill. He still REFUSED but he did say that he would refer me to the hospitals pain management dept but they couldn’t see me until 10 am the next morning!! This Dr. has not an ounce of care for his patients and I would NOT recommend that ANYONE go to him! He’s a total ASS!
